THE UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S CLUB OF TORONTO

A Vibrant Community of Learning, Connection, and Fun

The University Women’s Club of Toronto offers a variety of social, cultural, and educational events throughout the year—designed to bring members together, spark conversation, and celebrate shared interests.

Engaging Events All Year Round  Our popular Speakers Series features dynamic guests from diverse backgrounds who speak on thought-provoking and timely topics. Spotlight on Us is a beloved tradition where one member takes center stage to share a personal story, passion, career journey, or life experience.  Travel lovers look forward to Travel Night, where members present stories, photos, and mementos from recent adventures. Our Cinq à Sept evenings are informal potluck socials hosted in members’ homes, offering a relaxed setting to build friendships and enjoy great conversation.

Seasonal Fun and Local Outings  Bingo Night brings out our playful side—these light-hearted evenings are always a crowd-pleaser. Come summer, you’ll find us soaking up the sun at Patio Night, a chance to unwind together in a relaxed outdoor setting.  Rain or shine, we also organize local outings to cultural and historical sites around the city. They start with a morning walk and are often capped off with coffee or lunch at a nearby spot.

Whether you’re looking to expand your horizons, meet new people, or simply enjoy some fun and engaging events, there’s always something happening at the University Women’s Club of Toronto.

Events

The University Women’s Club of Toronto holds most of its meetings and events at The Faculty Club, a beautiful heritage building situated on the campus of the University of Toronto.  Other events are held in local restaurants, members’ homes or at cultural venues in the city. All members are invited to join the events.

We also have a number of interest groups.  A common interest brings these members together, for socializing and learning – from book clubs and Mah Jongg, to Current Affairs and International  Dining. Interest groups meet weekly or monthly, depending on the interest.
