THE UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S CLUB OF TORONTO
|
For more than 120 years, women at UWC Toronto have believed in helping create opportunity — through education, community and the belief that women helping women can make a lasting difference.
The University Women’s Club of Toronto is deeply committed to advancing the education and well-being of women, girls, and all those who face barriers due to poverty, limited access to education, or other challenges.
Through the UWC Toronto Foundation, our registered charitable arm, we award scholarships to high school graduates pursuing university studies.
The Foundation is overseen by a board of Club members dedicated to ensuring that young women have the support they need to achieve their academic and career goals.
Since our founding in 1903, we have also partnered with community organizations to improve the lives of women and girls in Toronto and beyond.
Our philanthropic work brings together education, community partnerships and fundraising — all grounded in a long tradition of women supporting women.
Through the UWC Toronto Foundation, we provide scholarships to high school graduates pursuing university studies and help young women move toward their academic and career goals.
