THE UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S CLUB OF TORONTO
|
The University Women’s Club of Toronto is deeply committed to advancing the education and well-being of women, girls, and all those who face barriers due to poverty, limited access to education, or other challenges. Through the UWC Toronto Foundation, our registered charitable arm, we award scholarships to high school graduates pursuing university studies. The Foundation is overseen by a board of Club members dedicated to ensuring that young women have the support they need to achieve their academic and career goals. Learn more on our Scholarships page. Since our founding in 1903, we have also partnered with community organizations to improve the lives of women and girls in Toronto and beyond. Past collaborations have included Sistering, Humewood House, Indspire, and Romero House, where we have supported projects and fundraising initiatives that make a meaningful difference. Our philanthropy is made possible through a combination of managed investments, member donations, and fundraising events. Together, these efforts allow us to continue a long tradition of empowering women through education and community support. |
