FIND YOUR PLACE

Our committees offer meaningful ways to become more involved in the Club while working alongside other accomplished and engaged women.

You simply need to bring your perspective, your skills and your willingness to contribute.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

Help safeguard the future of UWC Toronto.

Behind every successful organization is thoughtful financial stewardship.

Help tell the UWC Toronto story.

We have an extraordinary story to tell.

Founded in 1903, UWC Toronto has spent more than a century bringing women together to learn, connect, lead and make a difference. Today, our members are continuing that legacy in a changing world.

The Communications Committee helps make sure our members — and the wider community — know who we are, what we do and why it matters.

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE

Help open a door that can change a life.

Few things are more powerful than helping a woman pursue an education and build the future she imagines.

Through the UWC Toronto Foundation, our Club has awarded more than $667,000 in scholarships since 2019, helping women pursue post-secondary education in Canada.

The Scholarship Committee plays an important role in this work.

You might contribute through:

  • Reviewing scholarship applications

  • Supporting the selection process

  • Evaluating candidates and their achievements

  • Helping identify students with exceptional potential

  • Supporting scholarship-related communications and activities

  • Helping strengthen the impact of our scholarship program

A great fit if you are:
An educator, academic, professional, mentor, advocate or anyone who believes deeply in the transformative power of education.

Your time could help change the trajectory of someone's life.

SPEAKER COMMITTEE

Bring remarkable women and ideas into the room.

One of the things that makes UWC Toronto special is the opportunity to hear from fascinating people, explore important ideas and engage in thoughtful conversation.

The Speaker Committee helps create those moments.

This is your opportunity to help shape the conversations our community has and introduce members to people, perspectives and ideas they may not encounter anywhere else.

You might contribute through:
